A creamy, indulgent breakfast inspired by cookies and cream ice cream, perfect for busy mornings or as a grab-and-go snack.

  • 1 cup (100g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk (regular, almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 23 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon (10g) chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup (100g) of old-fashioned oats, 1 tablespoon (10g) of chia seeds (if using), and a small pinch of salt.
  2. Pour in 1 cup (240ml) of milk, 1/2 cup (120g) of Greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon (5ml) of vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons (30ml) of honey or maple syrup. Stir until well combined.
  3. Crush 2-3 chocolate sandwich cookies into small pieces and fold them gently into the oat mixture.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly between two mason jars or airtight containers.
  5. Cover and chill the jars in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  6. Give the oats a quick stir before serving, and top with additional crushed cookies, whipped cream, or fresh fruit if desired.

Notes

For best texture, use old-fashioned rolled oats and chill for at least 6 hours. Adjust sweetness to taste and experiment with toppings like whipped cream or fresh fruit.
