A warm, cheesy, seafood-packed dip that combines briny crab meat, creamy cheeses, and the zing of Old Bay seasoning. Perfect for parties and gatherings year-round.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • A few dashes of hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your pie dish or casserole dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (if using). Mix well.
  4. Gently fold in lump crab meat, ensuring the crab is evenly distributed without breaking it apart too much. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to your prepared pie dish or casserole dish. Spread it out evenly and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle additional shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan over the top for a golden, cheesy crust.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the top is lightly golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
