A quick and easy creamy dip featuring crispy bacon and fresh green onions, perfect for any gathering or casual snack time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 to 8 strips bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 8-10 minutes, flipping occasionally. Drain on paper towels and crumble into small pieces.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Blend with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper until evenly combined.
  4. Fold in crumbled bacon and chopped green onions, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let flavors meld and dip firm up.
  6. Before serving, garnish with reserved bacon bits and green onions. Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Use thick-cut bacon for best texture. Let bacon drain on paper towels to keep it crisp. Soften cream cheese before mixing to avoid lumps. Chilling the dip enhances flavor and thickens texture. For a lighter version, substitute full-fat Greek yogurt for cream cheese. For dairy-free or vegetarian versions, use appropriate substitutes and omit bacon.
