A quick and refreshing breakfast recipe featuring crisp cereal poured with ice cold milk, perfect for busy mornings or a light snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to cups (30 to 45 grams) crisp cereal (e.g., Kellogg’s Corn Flakes or Nature’s Path Organic)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cold milk (whole, 2%, skim, or dairy-free almond/oat milk)
  • Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: fresh fruit toppings such as sliced bananas, strawberries, or blueberries
  • Optional: toasted nuts or seeds like almonds or chia

Instructions

  1. Chill your cereal bowl in the fridge or freezer for 5-10 minutes (optional) to keep milk colder longer and cereal crisp.
  2. Pour 1 to 1½ cups (30-45 g) of crisp cereal into the bowl.
  3. Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) of ice cold milk over the cereal to maintain crunchiness.
  4. Add optional fresh fruit slices on top for flavor and color.
  5. Drizzle a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if desired for extra sweetness.
  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the crisp texture and refreshing chill.

Notes

Use fresh, crisp cereal and keep milk as cold as possible to maintain crunchiness. Pour milk slowly and eat immediately for best texture. For longer crunch, pour half the milk, eat halfway, then add the rest.
