Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and ginger powder in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low until warm and slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  6. Transfer cooked wings to a large mixing bowl and pour the honey glaze over them. Toss until fully coated.
  7. Plate the wings and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired. Serve immediately.
