Ingredients

  • Fresh sandwich bread (white or whole wheat)
  • Unsalted butter, softened
  • Fresh minced garlic
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the crusts off each slice of bread and use a rolling pin to flatten them completely.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the garlic butter onto each flattened bread slice.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread.
  6. Roll each slice tightly into a log and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
