A quick and easy crescent roll pizza ring with cheesy pepperoni topping that crisps up perfectly golden brown and is perfect for parties or snacks.

  • 1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll dough (about 226 grams), refrigerated
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 170 grams), fresh shredded
  • 2025 pepperoni slices (about 2 ounces / 56 grams), thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (about 15 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara (about 120 ml), optional for dipping or spreading

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate into 8 triangles along perforations but keep connected at the outer edge to form a circle.
  3. Arrange the dough in a ring shape on the lined baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends slightly towards the center and fanning the pointed ends outward.
  4. Spread shredded mozzarella evenly over the wide part of each dough triangle, reserving about ¼ cup for topping later.
  5. Place 2-3 pepperoni slices on top of the cheese on each triangle.
  6. Optionally, spoon a little pizza sauce or marinara over the cheese and pepperoni.
  7. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning evenly over the toppings.
  8. Fold the pointed ends of the dough triangles over the toppings, tucking them under the wide ends at the center to seal the ring. Press gently to keep together.
  9. Brush the top of the ring with olive oil or melted butter.
  10. Sprinkle the reserved mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  12. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Brush dough with olive oil or melted butter for better browning and crispiness. Press dough ends firmly to seal and prevent cheese leakage. Use fresh shredded mozzarella for better melting. Tent with foil if browning too fast. Can be baked on a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet for crispier bottom. Leftovers reheat best in toaster or conventional oven, avoid microwave.
