A quick and fresh homemade turkey and cheese Lunchables snack that combines savory turkey, sharp cheese, crunchy crackers, and fresh veggies for a satisfying and wholesome bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 ounces deli turkey slices, thinly sliced but not paper-thin
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced (sharp or mild)
  • 20 to 25 multigrain crackers
  • 1 cup baby carrots, washed and trimmed
  • 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons mustard or hummus (optional)
  • 4 to 6 pickle slices (optional)
  • 1 small apple, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the produce by washing baby carrots and grape tomatoes thoroughly. Trim carrots if needed and halve the tomatoes. Core and slice the apple thinly; optionally toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Slice the cheddar cheese into thin slices roughly the same size as the crackers.
  3. Arrange the turkey slices on a plate and cut into smaller, snack-friendly pieces.
  4. Assemble the Lunchables by placing crackers in one section of the container, turkey pieces and cheese slices in another, baby carrots and grape tomatoes in a separate compartment, and apple slices in a small container or wrapped individually. Add pickle slices if using.
  5. Add mustard or hummus dip into a small container or compartment separately.
  6. Close containers tightly and refrigerate until ready to eat. Best consumed within 24 hours.

Notes

Keep crackers separate from moist ingredients to avoid sogginess. Toss apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning. Use fresh deli turkey for best flavor. Mustard or hummus dip is optional but adds extra flavor. Refrigerate and consume within 24 hours for freshness.
