  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) if serving warm. Skip preheating for chilled peppers.
  2. Wash and dry mini peppers, slice each in half lengthwise, and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, everything bagel seasoning, chopped chives, shredded cheddar cheese (if using), garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Using a piping bag or small spoon, fill each mini pepper half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. For warm peppers, place stuffed peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is slightly bubbly and peppers are tender. For chilled peppers, arrange on a platter and refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.
  6. Sprinkle extra everything bagel seasoning on top for garnish and serve with toothpicks or small forks.
