A quick and easy recipe for sheet pan nachos loaded with spiced ground beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings. Perfect for game days, movie nights, or casual dinners.

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (85% lean)
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup Black Beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Avocado (sliced or diced)
  • Jalapeños (fresh or pickled, optional)
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions (thinly sliced)
  • Lime Wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, and break it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (optional), salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Spread a single layer of tortilla chips onto the prepared sheet pan. Top with half of the ground beef, black beans, and shredded cheese. Repeat for a second layer.
  5. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven and top the nachos with diced tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños, cilantro, green onions, and a drizzle of sour cream. Add a squeeze of lime juice.
  7. Serve directly on the sheet pan for a communal dining experience.

Notes
