These cranberry brie bites are the perfect holiday appetizer—easy to make, delicious, and beautifully festive. With golden puff pastry, creamy brie, and tart cranberry sauce, they’re sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed if frozen
  • 1 wheel or block of brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • Honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8-inch thick. Cut the pastry into 2-inch squares.
  3. Gently press each puff pastry square into the wells of the mini muffin tin, forming little cups.
  4. Cut the brie into small cubes, about 1/2-inch in size. Place one cube in each puff pastry cup.
  5. Drop about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of each piece of brie. Be careful not to overfill.
  6. If desired, sprinkle a few chopped nuts and place a small sprig of fresh rosemary on top of each bite. A drizzle of honey is optional.
  7. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted and bubbly.
  8. Allow the cranberry brie bites to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before carefully removing them. Serve warm.

Notes

Don’t overfill the pastry cups to avoid a sticky mess. Use cold puff pastry for easier handling, and brush the edges with egg wash for a golden finish. These bites can be frozen and baked directly from frozen for convenience.
