A buttery, flaky crescent ring filled with savory turkey, sweet cranberry sauce, and creamy cheese, perfect for using up holiday leftovers and impressing your guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 egg beaten with a splash of water (egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped pecans. Stir until evenly mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Lay them out in a circle on the parchment-lined baking sheet, with the points facing outward. Overlap the edges slightly to form a complete ring.
  4. Spoon the turkey and cranberry mixture onto the wide ends of the crescent triangles, forming an even layer around the ring.
  5. Gently pull the pointed ends of the crescent dough over the filling and tuck them underneath the wide ends to seal the ring.
  6. Using a pastry brush, lightly coat the surface of the crescent ring with the prepared egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove the crescent ring from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

[‘Don’t overfill the crescent ring to avoid bursting or uneven cooking.’, ‘Seal the dough well to prevent leaks.’, ‘Use cold crescent dough for easier handling.’, ‘Check the crescent ring a few minutes early to avoid overbaking.’]
