  • 1 standard 10-ounce bag Peeps marshmallows (choose your favorite colors or classic chicks)
  • 1 cup (170 grams) semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 sleeve graham crackers, broken into pieces for dipping
  • 2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt for sprinkling on top

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place your oven-safe skillet on the stove over low heat. Add the 2 tablespoons of melted butter and swirl to coat the bottom evenly.
  3. Pour 1 cup (170 grams) of chocolate chips evenly over the buttered skillet base. Spread them out gently with a spatula for an even layer.
  4. Arrange the Peeps marshmallows evenly on top of the chocolate chips. You can keep them whole or tear them into smaller pieces for faster melting.
  5. Lightly drizzle the teaspoon of vanilla extract over the Peeps.
  6. Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the Peeps puff up and turn a light golden brown without burning.
  7. Once out of the oven, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top if desired.
  8. Serve warm with graham crackers or your favorite dippers.

Notes

If Peeps aren’t melting evenly, cut into smaller chunks or gently stir halfway through baking. Watch closely to avoid burning. For gluten-free, use gluten-free graham crackers or rice crackers. For dairy-free, use plant-based butter and dairy-free chocolate chips. Reheat leftovers in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes; avoid microwaving.
