A quick and easy peach sweet tea sangria perfect for summer parties, combining juicy peaches, sweet tea, and crisp white wine for a refreshing and crowd-pleasing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) brewed black tea, cooled
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 lemon, sliced thinly
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup (120 ml) peach schnapps or peach liqueur (optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) club soda or sparkling water
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Extra lemon slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea by boiling water and steeping 4 cups (960 ml) of black tea using 4 tea bags or 4 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain leaves.
  2. Stir in ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar while the tea is still warm until fully dissolved. Let the sweet tea cool to room temperature, about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Wash and thinly slice 2 ripe peaches and 1 lemon. Set aside a few lemon slices for garnish if desired.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled sweet tea, 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine, and optional ½ cup (120 ml) peach schnapps. Stir gently to blend.
  5. Add the sliced peaches and lemon to the pitcher. Stir gently and cover with plastic wrap or a lid.
  6. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, ideally 4-6 hours, to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Just before serving, add 1 cup (240 ml) club soda or sparkling water for a light fizz and stir gently.
  8. Serve over ice in glasses, garnished with fresh mint leaves and extra lemon slices if desired.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the wine and schnapps and replace with extra brewed sweet tea and sparkling water. Adjust sugar to taste or use natural sweeteners like honey. Chill for at least 2 hours for best flavor, but 1 hour is acceptable. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Remove fruit before storing leftovers longer than 24 hours to avoid bitterness.
