Tortilla pizza rolls are a quick, kid-friendly snack that combines all the best parts of pizza—crispy edges, gooey cheese, and customizable toppings—rolled up in flour tortillas and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for parties, lunchboxes, or easy weeknight snacks, these bite-sized rolls are endlessly adaptable and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 flour tortillas (8-inch/20 cm; use gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or turkey/plant-based pepperoni)
  • 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (about 1 tablespoon per tortilla)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (dried oregano, basil, thyme blend)
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • Optional: chopped veggies (bell peppers, mushrooms, olives), cooked sausage or bacon bits, red pepper flakes, fresh basil or parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay out 6 flour tortillas on a clean work surface. Prepare pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and any other desired fillings.
  3. Spoon about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of pizza sauce onto each tortilla, spreading evenly and leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, add pepperoni slices or other toppings, then top with grated Parmesan and a pinch of Italian seasoning.
  5. Roll each tortilla up tightly from one edge, placing seam-side down.
  6. Slice each rolled tortilla into 1-inch pieces (about 6-8 rolls per tortilla) using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  7. Arrange rolls cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each. Brush tops lightly with olive oil. Optionally, sprinkle with more Parmesan.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and edges are golden brown. Check at 12 minutes.
  9. Let rolls cool on the pan for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce, ranch, or garlic butter for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overfill tortillas to prevent unrolling or leaking. Warm tortillas briefly if stiff for easier rolling. Rolls can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving. For extra crispiness, use an air fryer at 375°F for 6-8 minutes. Use gluten-free or dairy-free ingredients as needed. Leftovers reheat well in the oven or air fryer.
